Sé que detrás de esa aparente sencillez hay un trabajo profundo y minucioso como el que ha realizado el diseñador Jorge Pensi en KABI, su última colección para la firma Akaba. Yo conocía algunos de sus trabajos anteriores pero no habíamos coincidido en persona y, la verdad, charlar con él durante la presentación de la colección fue un auténtico placer.
Me explicó que él diseña para crear sensaciones, que la belleza está en la atemporalidad y que hay belleza en casi todo pero las líneas horizontales, paralelas y sutiles son su perdición.
Todo eso comprimido es la colección KABI, unas sillas diseñadas para ser mobiliario de oficinas e interiorismo de hoteles pero con un plus; tienen el alma de Jorge Pensi.
I love minimalism; Its pure, clean, concise and clear forms have always been my weakness. I know that behind this apparent simplicity there is a deep and meticulous work such as that made by designer Jorge Pensi in KABI, his latest collection for the firm Akaba. I knew some of his previous works but we had not met in person and, truthfully, chatting with him during the presentation of the collection was a real pleasure.
He explained to me that he designs to create sensations, that beauty is in timelessness and there is beauty in almost everything but the horizontal, parallel and subtle lines are his obsession.
All that everything is inside KABI collection, some chairs designed to be office furniture and interior design of hotels but with a plus: they have the soul of Jorge Pensi.

Como habéis visto en las fotos las sillas KABI son estética y materialmente hablando perfectas.
