No cabe duda de que las chaquetas de cuero para hombre son de esas prendas que puedes ponerte una y mil veces sin cansarte, un autentico imprescindible para plantarle cara al frío o al calor y darle ese toque rebelde a nuestros looks.
A la hora de elegir las chaquetas de cuero es importante optar por tonos fáciles de combinar. No hay duda de que el negro sigue siendo el color más utilizado, seguido por el marrón.
Las tachuelas, los troqueles, las pieles en los cuellos…todos esos elementos bien llevados “suman” en estilo pero disminuyen drásticamente las posibilidades de combinar esta prenda, por lo que mejor es decantarse por un diseño sencillo que puedas utilizar sin problemas una y otra. La primera chaqueta de piel fue creada por los hermanos Scott en USA (1928) a la que llamaron‘perfecto’, aunque hay antecedentes parecidos en diseños del ejercito alemán, mucho éxito debe esta prenda a la gran pantalla, cuando en 1958 se estrenaba la película The wild one (Salvajes), en la que Marlon Brando interpretaba a un lider de una banda de moteros.
Compañerismo, libertad y contacto por la naturaleza, son algunos de los valores que los moteros ensalzan a modo de filosofía, para entender su pasión por los vehiculos de dos ruedas. Un motero sin su ‘chupa’ no se puede entender de ninguna manera. La elección de la también llamada ‘biker’, no es por casualidad, el cuero, además de ser perfecto para el frío o calor es protector en caso de golpes, normalmente los moteros suelen llevar refuerzos como coderas y pantalones a juego.

Este tipo de cazadora es normalmente larga, con multiples bolsillos y ajustada a la cintura. Es muy característica su enorme cremallera que va de arriba abajo con botones decorativos y my habitual encontrarsela en color marrón o beige.
Este tipo de cazadoras son la seña de identidad de marcas como Barbour o Belfast que cada otoño/ invierno la sacan al mercado renovada pero sin renunciar al estilo clásico que la caracteriza. Son muy cómodas y calentitas para los meses más fríos del año.

La cazadora “motera”
Este tipo de cazador se hizo muy popular en la Inglaterra de los años 60,.Allí se las conoce como las “Cafe Racer”, una especie de homenaje a las cazadoras que tenían los motoristas aliados durante la II Guerra Mundial.
El estilo es basicamente mininalista, recortado por cremalleras en el pecho, una tira de collar en el cuello y mangas estrechas. El estilo final, como podéis ver, es muy estilizado y aerodinámico. El cuero que se suele utilizar para este tipo de cazadoras es piel pesada y gruesa lo que le hace una prenda perfecta contra el frío del invierno.
Al ser ajustada al cuerpo te hará parecer Batman o Superman. Es una de mis preferidas.

La cazadora de Aviador

Dignas de toda consideración, si además cuentan con una estética acertada se integran dentro de nuestro armario para un uso cotidiano, atemporal y clásico. Y este es, sin duda, el caso de las cazadoras de aviador que se remontan a la Primera Guerra Mundial.
Para combinar este tipo de cazadoras no se me ocurre nada mejor que un pantalón vaquero y unas botas commando de cordones y suela de goma. Aunque en general valen casi todas las prendas casual. Las chaquetas de este tipo también las encontramos en ante o piel vuelta y sus colores abarcan toda la gama de tonalidades marrones de manera preferente. Si las de fina gabardina Harrington eran para el calor, las de cuero están indicadas para las estaciones propias del frío y la humedad.
