Ecoalf sigue buscando nuevos huecos en el armario masculino. La compañía madrileña, que en los últimos años ha diversificado con nuevas categorías como el deporte o la cosmética, ha lanzado una colección de sastrería de la mano de Lapo Elkann, uno de los iconos de la industria y la moda italiana.
La colección cápsula se vehicula a través de Ecoalf 1.0, la línea premium de Ecoalf, e incluirá trajes producidos con nylon reciclado a partir de redes de pescar y otros residuos textiles. La producción se realizará en Portugal y, según la marca, la colección supone un ahorro de 243.000 litros de agua y un 58% menos de emisiones de carbono respecto a un traje “tradicional”.
La colección se comercializará con precios que van desde los 147 euros de los pantalones a los 397 euros de las americanas, y se venden en la tienda de Milán. A partir de la semana próxima, se lanzará también en la página web de la marca.
Ecoalf se lanza al mundo del traje sin género
Ecoalf keeps looking for new niches in men's closets. The Madrid-based company, which in recent years has diversified into new categories such as sports and cosmetics, has launched a tailoring collection with Lapo Elkann, one of the icons of the Italian fashion industry.
The capsule collection will be distributed through Ecoalf 1.0, Ecoalf's premium line, and will include suits produced with recycled nylon from fishing nets and other textile waste. Production will take place in Portugal and, according to the brand, the collection will save 243,000 liters of water and 58% less carbon emissions than a "traditional" suit.
The collection will be marketed with prices ranging from 147 euros for the pants to 397 euros for the blazers, and will be sold from Monday in the Milan store. Starting next week, it will also be launched on the brand's website.
Lapo Elkann ha sido y es uno de los iconos del estilo italiano y es miembro de la familia Agnelli, que tiene en su cartera negocios emblemáticos como Fiat, Ferrari, los medios Corriere della Sera y La Stampa o el club de futbol Juventus de Turín. El empresario es también cofundador de la empresa de óptica Italia Independent, nacida en 2007 de la mano de dos amigos y que cotiza en bolsa desde 2013.
En los últimos años, Ecoalf ha pisado el acelerador de su plan estratégico, apoyándose en la diversificación (con el lanzamiento de líneas de deporte y cosmética) y el desarrollo des u red de retail, con un nuevo flagship en Madrid y aperturas en nuevos mercados como Italia.
Según los últimos datos disponibles, Ecoalf finalizó el ejercicio 2021 (terminado en febrero de 2022) con una facturación de 37,4 millones de euros, un 54% más que el ejercicio anterior. La compañía está liderada por Javier Goyeneche, su fundador, y está controlada por el fondo Treïs.

Lapo Elkann has been and still is one of the icons of Italian style and is a member of the Agnelli family, which has in its portfolio emblematic businesses such as Fiat, Ferrari, the media Corriere della Sera and La Stampa or the soccer club Juventus of Turin. The entrepreneur is also co-founder of the optics company Italia Independent, born in 2007 from the hand of two friends and listed on the stock exchange since 2013.
In recent years, Ecoalf has stepped on the accelerator of its strategic plan, relying on diversification (with the launch of sports and cosmetics lines) and the development of its retail network, with a new flagship store in Madrid and openings in new markets such as Italy.
According to the latest available data, Ecoalf ended fiscal 2021 (ending February 2022) with a turnover of 37.4 million euros, 54% more than the previous year. The company is led by Javier Goyeneche, its founder, and is controlled by the Treïs fund.
