Con la entrada del año nuevo se avecina un montón de nuevas tendencias que pronto estarán en los escaparates de tus tiendas o marcas favoritas y que , ya lo verás, acabarás sucumbiendo a ellas. Yo he seguido a lo largo de este año las principales pasarelas internacionales y me he dado cuenta que los diseñadores apuestan por cambios discretos pero efectivos. Aquí van las principales que he visto. Tomad nota.
With the end of the year fast approaching and a whole new one on the horizon we’ll soon be thrust into an entirely new set of trends whilst waving goodbye to old ones. It can be pretty tricky to stay ahead of the curve and get yourself prepared for the new styles before they enter the mainstream but luckily here I am on hand to give you a heads up.
PANTALONES SUBIDOS
Los pantalones doblados dejan paso a los tobilleros, los que enseñan hasta los tobillos. La verdad es que las dos tendencias son un poco similares pero ahora el pantalón se estira un poco más y llega incluso hasta un poco más alto de los tobillos. La tendencia es favorecedora porque te hará parecer más alto. Gucci, Maison Margiela, Thom Browne y Pigalle lo proponen para este 2017.
FLOOD PANTS
Cropped trousers are out for 2017 and flood pants are in. In reality the two styles aren’t really all that dissimilar, with the main difference being that flood pants feature a turn up, and break slightly higher up the ankle.

HOMBROS MARCADOS
Vete olvidando de las americanas Slim fit porque este año se ensanchan un poco y los hombros se marcan bastante. Hasta esta temporada hemos visto blazers y abrigos muy caídos de hombros pero este año vuelven a llevarse las hombreras lo que os dará un aire un poco rígido y estirado. Balenciaga, E.Tautz y Gosha Rubchinskiy apuestan fuerte por esta tendencia.
BOLD SHOULDERS
Slim fit suits have been on their way out for a while now, being replaced by loose, oversized styles. With this new oversized cut comes bold shouldered jackets which feature a wider cut and a stiff, padded design. Who’s doing it? Balenciaga, E.Tautz, Gosha Rubchinskiy
MOCHILAS
Las mochilas este año ocupan el lugar de los bolsos, maxibolsos, riñones etc. Las hemos visto en todas las pasarelas y en todas las propuestas de las marcas. Será el complemento más deseado de 2017. Si son negras o verde militar mejor que mejor
BACKPACKS
There will be no avoiding the backpack next year with almost everyone showing one is some capacity during the SS17 shows. It’s a must-have item for 2017, not to mention it’s practical too!

JERSEYS A RAYAS
No hablo del típico jersey a rayas azul y blanco sino de un estilo más deportivo. Veremos jerseys monocolores con las rayas sólo en el pecho o en las mangas. Raf Simons, Calvin Klain, ami y fundí ya han sacado colecciones que nos van dejar boquiabiertos por su frescura y originalidad sobre todo e primavera.
STRIPED KNITWEAR
We’re not talking Breton stripes or any other sort of all-over striped designs. For 2017 the emphasis is on sports-inspired stripes across the chest, arms and anywhere else they look good really.

PANTALONES DE PETO
Es cierto que los hemos visto a lo largo de estos años atrás en numerosos sitios pero nunca acababan de despuntar, hasta ahora. Parece que 2017 va a ser el año de los peto o “monos obreros” por lo que hemos visto en las marcas, diseñadores y pasarelas. A mi no es una prenda que me entusiasme pero es verdad que puede ser divertida si la sabes combinar y sólo para ocasiones muy informales. Ralph Lauren y Valentino tienen una colección entera de petos.
OVERALLS
Men’s overalls have been gracing runways for a few years now but, somewhat understandably, have never quite caught on. However, the SS17 shows had more overalls than ever before and 2017 could be the year that overalls really take off, even if it’s only amongst the more experimental dressers out there.

INSPIRACION MILITAR
Aunque no os guste lo militar este año lo vais a encontrar hasta en la sopa. Esta tendencia a lo castrense sigue pegando fuerte y no podemos descartar las prendas con estampado camuflaje: una parka o un pantalón cargo son la mejor manera de lucirlo. Con todo yo te recomiendo prudencia con este tipo de prendas, son quizás demasiado llamativas y para un público muy quinceañero.
ARMY-INSPIRED CAMO PRINTS
Camo is coming back in a big way for 2017 so you’d better get stocking up now! It’s a trend we can fully get on board with, being big fans of utilitarian style. Many of the biggest names in the game have been experimenting with all things military, and to glorious effect. We can’t wait to get involved.
