Se trata de la “X3” que el diseñador alemán Paul Loebach hizo para la marca Kontextur y se llama así porque está hecha de un solo tubo de metal doblado tres veces para crear el mango y el pico de la regadera que va unido al deposito donde se le echa el agua.
El diseño es maravillosamente vintage, muy funcional y super práctico. Está disponible en cobre o en acero pintado y durante la Feria del Diseño de Nueva York se alzó con el premio al “Más deseado”.
The ‘X3’ watering can by Paul Loebach for Kontextür derives its name from the simple method in which it is manufactured. The container is made using a single metal tube, bent three times (X-3), to create both the handle and the pour spout. An inlet is positioned on top providing an easy place for water to flow out of–as if from a kitchen faucet.
Like traditional watering cans with two handles, the one of ‘X3’ allows the design to be held in two positions: on top for carrying a full container of water, and at the side of the can while pouring. ‘X3’ is available in solid copper or painted steel. it has been on shown at wanted design during new york design week 2013.
