En cada cambio de estación toca revisar qué echamos en falta en el armario para aprovechar las novedades y hacernos con ello. Y quizá una de las cosas que menos tengamos en cuenta a la hora de hacer este repaso son nuestras muñecas. Puede que no lo creas pero un (buen) reloj puede marcar la diferencia entre un look del montón y otro con estilo. Por eso, conviene una puesta a punto y poner en hora nuestra colección de relojes.

Es un reloj que respeta las señas de identidad de la firma –legibilidad, funcionalidad, fiabilidad y precisión–, pero con una estética contundente, masculina y setentera, muy dirigida al urbanita actual.

El movimiento automático Powermatic 80, con sus impresionantes 80 horas de reserva de marcha, es ya un fijo para Certina y la mejor opción para aquellos que quieran hacerse con un reloj mecánico de calidad por menos de 1.000 euros. Acciona tanto sus divers, como el reciente DS Action PH200M, como ésta nueva incorporación de carácter netamente urbano que viene con una de las grandes tendencias de temporada: la pulsera de malla milanesa (intercambiable por una correa de cuero, para los más clásicos).

The latest Certina DS-1 Powermatic 80 is very similar to its predecessors with only a few subtle but significant differences. One of them being the color of the hands, the other is the bracelet. We will talk about them below. First, let’s look at the case and talk about the size in general. The DS-1 is 40mm in diameter, 47.3mm from lug tip to lug tip but only 11.3mm thick. The material is 316L steel, mostly brushed except for the upper side of the lugs, those are brushed.
The watch has a thin bezel which makes the dial look much bigger optically. The domed sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating, though it does not really change the look of the watch or the dial from any angle. Large crown with no guards (as it was with the first DS) stick out of the case.
