Bueno, casi casi... ya sé que faltan 2 semanas para que entre la primavera pero yo lo voy a echar de menos. A mi me gusta . Es una estación tranquila en la que planeo muchas cosas de mi vida caminando y meditando antes de que llegue la imprevisible primavera y el tórrido verano.
Lo que veis es la ribera del rio Tajo a su paso por Trillo, en Guadalajara. Uno de los sitios más tranquilos que he visitado en mi vida y que tengo especial cariño porque en su balneario me curé el año pasado de una persistente y pesadísima bronquitis que me duró más de 2 meses.
Aquí la naturaleza es sosegada, el aire límpio, el ambiente seco y el agua está llena de propiedades que son beneficiosas para el cuerpo. Por eso ya se ha convertido casi casi en un ritual: antes de entrar en la primavera hacer una breve (pero revitalizadora) escapada para estar cerca del rio Tajo y sus aguas.
Or very nearly. I know it's still two weeks for spring to come but I am going to miss it. I love winter time. It is a quiet season in which I plan many things in my life walking and meditating before it reaches the unpredictable spring and hot summer .
What you see above is the riverside of the Tagus river as it passes through Trillo in Guadalajara. One of the most peaceful places I have visited in my life .I have special affection to this place because in its spa last year I was cured of a persistent and very heavy bronchitis that lasted more than two months .
Here nature is quiet , clean air , dry environment and the water is full of properties that are beneficial for the body. So now it has become almost a ritual almost : a midwinter make a short (but revitalizing ) away to be near the River Tagus and its waters.
Antes de llegar a la población, la carretera presenta un panorama típicamente alcarreño; montes semipelados de vegetación en los que alternan las encinas y romeros con los cultivos intensivos del cereal.
Una vez en Trillo, uno descubre la riqueza del agua en la confluencia de los ríos Tajo y Cifuentes. El primero, baja totalmente limpio, majestuoso y sin vertidos; el segundo, nos llega ya crecido, sin altibajos en su caudal, alegre, cristalino y juguetón en su final, con sendos saltos de agua en pleno casco urbano.
La vegetación es dura, balsámica, una vegetación de espinos, de romeros, de espliego, de salvia, de mejorana, de retamas, de aliagas, de matapollos, de cantueso, de jaras, de chaparras y de tomillos; una vegetación que casi no se ve, "pero que marea respirarla” ( Eso decía Cela en su "Viaje a la Alcarria" ) .
Before reaching the village , the road show us a typical picture from this part of the Iberian Peninsula. ; half peeled mountains of vegetation where the oaks and rosemary alternating with intensive cultivation of cereal.
Once in Trillo , I discover the richness of its waters at the confluence of the rivers Tajo and Cifuentes . The first one flows completely clean, majestic without discharges; the second one comes grown without ups and downs in its flow , cheerful , clear and playful in its final , each with waterfalls in the town center .
The vegetation is hard, balsamic, thorny vegetation of rosemary, lavender, sage, marjoram , of brooms, of gorse, and lavender , rockrose , of palmettos and thyme ; vegetation that is rarely seen , " but that tide breathe " (That said Cela in his book "Journey to the Alcarria " ) .
El premio Nobel en su libro describe así el paisaje de Trillo: “Al llegar a Trillo el paisaje es aún mas más feraz. La vegetación crece al apoyo del agua, y los árboles suben, airosos...”
La cascada del Cifuentes es una hermosa cola de caballo, de unos quince o veinte metros de altura, de agua espumeante y rugidora. Sus márgenes están rodeados de pájaros que se pasan el día silbando.
The Nobel Prize in his book describes the landscape of Trillo like this : "Arriving at Trillo the landscape is even more fertile . Vegetation grows to support the water and climbing trees , graceful ... "
The waterfall Cifuentes is a beautiful ponytail, about fifteen or twenty meters, with foaming and roaring water . Their margins are surrounded by birds who spend the day whistling.
También por Trillo pasó lo más granado del reino. Llegaron hasta aquí para restablecer su salud en los baños de Carlos III. En el balneario estuvo recuperando su salud D. Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos, cuando cesó como Ministro de Gracia y Justicia, a finales del siglo XVIII. Las aguas y los largos paseos por estos senderos debieron obrar milagros en su salud, pues en su diario escribe: “Humor bueno, los dolores desaparecieron”.
Y creedme no sólo a Jovellanos le funcionaron los baños de agua caliente. Se sale como nuevo.
Trillo also attracted atention to the highest members of the kingdom. They came here to restore their health in the bathrooms of Carlos III . At the spa Mr. Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos ( one of the most remenbered Minister of Justice in XVIII Century) got his health back - Waters and long walks along these paths worked miracles in his health as he writes in his diary : "Good Humor , pain disappeared." And believe me not only Jovellanos he ran the hot baths . It comes out like new.
And trust me, it worked not just for Jovellanos. You will leave it as a new human being.
