Guinness Zero is the king of NA beers. I’m not sure what kind of dark arts had to be conjured in Dublin to make Guinness Zero taste like ye olde’ Guinness, but it was worth it because you could fool a die-hard Guiness fan that this was the genuine article. California and Connecticut-based Athletic Brewing kicked off the craft NA beer trend in 2018 by making some of the first NA beers that actually tasted awesome. All of their offerings are dependable and delightful, but the All Out Extra Dark does the best job of tricking you into thinking you’re having a real-deal stout filled with roasted nut and coffee robustness. 90 calories; 21 g carbohydrates

First sip reaction: "Holy shit, it actually tastes like Heineken!" To some, that's not a good thing. There will be Heineken haters just like there are haters of all the macro brews. (Heineken doesn’t care if you actually like Heineken–it’s one of the world’s best selling beers.) So I consider this a triumph in the NA space, because, well it tastes like real Heineken! This was my favorite NA beer for a long time because I felt that if I was going to have an NA instead of a normal brew, it might as well be one with the fewest calories possible. If it gets in the caloric range of a real beer, just drink the the real beer, right? But many super low cal NA beers are terrible. This is not.
