Lorena Serrano Peinado y Davide Fichera dan forma a este fascinante proyecto. Ella es la diseñadora de la firma, de familia de ópticos y dibuja gafas desde que tiene uso de razón. Cuenta con la licenciatura en marketing además de un máster en dirección de arte. Él se ha criado en la fábrica de muebles de su abuelo, estudió arquitectura y es diseñador gráfico e industrial. Siempre tiene como objetivo realizar diseños reproducibles y ejecutables.
Juntos forman la agencia de diseño y desarrollo Fikera & Quiche, uniendo fuerzas, experiencias y entusiasmo para dar forma a estas gafas que no pasan desapercibidas. Su nueva linea “Nina Mûr goes Memphis” está dando mucho de que hablar.

On the year’s centenary of Ettore Sottsass’s birth Spanish brand Nina Mûr celebrates the artist with a new eyewear collection inspired by the colours and formal shapes of the Memphis Group, founded by Sottsass himself and which has influenced many designers all over the world. The collection is in collaboration with Abet Laminati, that has worked with Sottsass for a long time. It was thanks to Sottsass that the consideration that people had of laminate changed completely: it was no longer fake wood or fake marble but became a special material, not a substitute for another product.
Su finalidad es crear gafas diferentes, de alta calidad, realizadas con materiales sostenibles que vayan más allá de la tendencia pasajera y de una simple transacción comercial. Está claro que consiguen sus objetivos, las piezas que ellos fabrican conectan con la persona que las adquiere.
Los materiales que utilizan son el fruto de una investigación exhaustiva de los mismos. La madera es el epicentro de todos sus proyectos y diseños. El abedul proveniente de cultivos reforestados en Finlandia, hace de estas piezas un producto eco friendly.
El tratamiento de los materiales para potenciar la impermeabilidad hacen de estas gafas objetos resistentes al agua, incluso han llegado a testarlas en agua congelada. Estas gafas pueden utilizarse tanto con lentes ópticas (incluso hasta ocho dioptrías) como con lentes para protegernos del sol, todas ellas ofrecen una protección 100% UV, utilizando exclusivamente lentes ZEISS de alta calidad. Combinan con gran maestría la tecnología innovadora y la artesanía tradicional en su proceso de producción, ya que todas las piezas que realizan están hechas a mano.

Nina Mûr goes Memphis is a collection that comprises two lines: Original Memphis, featuring unique details realized with the Bacterio pattern (in reduced scale) in Digital Print, and Basic Memphis, made up of monochromatic models with cleaner lines. A collection that is further enriched by offering two main shapes: Nathalie, more feminine and clearly referring to Nathalie Du Pasquier, and obviously Ettore, more masculine and clearly connected to the Italian artist.
