El arte siempre ha sido una fuente de inspiración para los relojes Swatch. A la marca le encanta acercar el arte a las personas. With the Swatch Dutch Skies, the inspiration comes from a painting from 1636 by Jacob Neefs titled, "Spectacle with ship with fireworks, and the columns of Hercules". After a peaceful storm, a wild design arises, and the watch proves that inspiration can come from anywhere, anytime. The energetic depiction of nature is wonderfully rendered on the strap and dial of the watch, complete with an abstraction of blue and white clouds.
Another lovely edition, the Swatch Pink & Versa, is based on an artwork by Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem titled, "The Fall of Man" from 1592, which has been in the possession of the Rijksmuseum since 1815.
