Esta belleza que veis "Carmen y Ariadna dormida", inspiró en 2019 a la artista de los Paisojos, Teresa Ordás, en el Museo del Prado su proyecto "Mujeres que miran a otras mujeres en su arte" para destacar la escasa obra femenina expuesta en museos.
Pues bien, Teresa Ordás pretende que el recorrido de esta serie contribuya a partir de ahora a que las niñas sin recursos de hoy sean las artistas del mañana, o lo que quieran ser en la vida.
Por ello, el NFT de esta mirada de una estudiante de bellas artes de 19 años, Carmen Ameller, en la diosa cretense de 20 siglos de antigüedad, se subastará el próximo 8 de Marzo, Día Internacional de la Mujer, para donar el 100% a la ONG española CONI @asociacion_coni con el fin de ayudar a financiar el programa de escolarización de las niñas indígenas con escasos recursos de Guatemala. La subasta se inicia el 1 de marzo y concluye el 8.
