Por eso es interesante que te pases a disfrutar de la exposición que estos días se puede ver en el Museo ABC de Madrid donde un total de 22 artistas presentan sus ilustraciones sobre el mundo de la moda actual. Todos ellos presentan estilos y técnicas diferentes, y es precisamente esto es lo que hace realmente especial a ‘Fina Estampa’ ( así se llama la muestra) pues pone en valor esta disciplina tanto desde el punto de vista artístico como desde el punto de vista antropológico. Los 22 maestros contemporáneos que conviven en esta muestra no comparten una técnica concreta. Unos utilizan el lápiz, otros el pincel digital, o la acuarela; pero en todos los casos el resultado es una imagen atrayente, elegante y única, es decir, una «fina estampa». Y todo ello sin filtros ni selfies.
Aquí se reúnen hasta 100 obras fruto del trabajo de los creadores que están agitando la industria de la moda y las redes sociales como Amelie Hegardt, Aurore de la Morinerie, Blair Breitenstein, Cecilia Carlstedt, David Downton, François Berthoud, Gill Button, Helen Bullock o Hiroshi Tanate. Se trata de un proyecto con un potencial de impacto viral y un alcance que trasciende nuestras fronteras.
Aren't they wonderful? What I like the most is the intimate and personal vision of the fashion world from each one of the illustrators. The 22 contemporary masters who are together in this show do not share a specific technique. Some use the pencil, others the digital brush, or the watercolor; but in all cases the result is an attractive, elegant and unique image, that is to say, a "fine print". And all this without filters or selfies.

Y es que la ilustración de moda vive un "momento glorioso", catalogado por algunos como una segunda Edad de Oro, en el que dibujos y artistas de todas partes inundan las páginas de revistas y cabeceras tan prestigiosas como Vogue o Harper's Baazar.
Mientras la fotografía tiene la eficacia de retratar la realidad, la ilustración lo hace de una manera más cercana y, por lo tanto, más subjetiva.
Nada como los dibujos sueltos, espontáneos y apresurados de la moda, para indicar por donde va o se sueña con el estilo a la hora de lucir la ropa.

Fashion illustration is experiencing a "glorious moment", catalogued by some as a second Golden Age, in which drawings and artists from all over the world are on the pages of magazines as prestigious as Vogue or Harper's Baazar.
