The Casablanca runs partially: the Palatino hall is open, but the Fénix hall struggles with humidity damage.

A lack of updated films —due partly to import restrictions and partly to being cut off from international distribution— means the marquee is mostly filled with Cuban cinema, reruns, and the occasional national release. As a result, many patrons attend more out of habit or nostalgia than genuine anticipation.
