La Semana Grande la Moda Española acabó ayer y, una vez más, casi todos los diseñadores se han olvidado de nosotros. Sólo 4 han presentado propuestas para hombres. Sólo 4 de 43. Ahí dejo del dato para reflexionar.
Lo bueno es que tanto Montesinos, Davil Delfín, Ana Locking y Etxeberria ( los únicos que han sacado colecciones para nosotros en esta edición) no han podido hacerlo mejor. Sus colecciones han sido actuales, atrevidas y coloristas y nos presentan un hombre que se atreve a ponerse capas, abrigos de pieles, sombreros y (sobre todo) salir de la monotonía de los negros, grises y azules marinos.
Como grandes titulares: vuelven los calcetines blancos, americanas más estrechas, pantalones con dobladillos, bufandas grandes, gabardinas con forma de capa, siguen los sombreros ( ahora se les añade color), vuelven los botines y los abrigos llegan hasta los pies.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid ended yesterday and once again , almost all designers have forgotten us . Just 4 of them submitted proposals for men . Only 4 out of 43. Here I leave the data to reflect.
The good news is that Montesinos , David Delfin, Ana Locking and Etxeberria ( the only ones who have brought collections for us in this edition) couldn´t have done better. Their collections are current , bold and colorful and they present a man who dares to wear coats , coats , hats and (mostly) out of the monotony of black , gray and navy blue.
As headlines : white socks are back, more narrow jackets, pants with cuffs , large scarves , trench -shaped layer, hats ( now add color), return the boots and coats go to the feet .
DAVID DELFIN
"Mentiras" es lo nuevo de David Delfín, L'enfant terrible de la moda española. Un derroche de ironía e irreverencia materializado en textil con toques patrios y Hogwarescos que lo mismo nos trasladan a un partido de fútbol que al universo de Harry Potter.
Delfín nos pone calcetines blancos, nos da más color a nuestro vestuario, nos hace un dobladillo a los pantalones y nos da un toque urbanita y sofisticado a nuestro vestuario.
" Lies " is the new collection of David Delfín, L' enfant terrible of Spanish fashion. A waste of irony and irreverence textile materialized with patriotic touches and Hogwarescos that take us to a football game or to the world of Harry Potter.
Dolphin puts us white socks , he gives more color to our wardrobes , makes us a hem pants and gives us a slicker and sophisticated touch to our wardrobe .
MONTESINOS
Francis Montesinos nos presenta una colección entre la estética bucanera y la militar, entre el mundo grunge y el flamenco, entre la sensualidad de las azafatas y la estética cowboy.
El maestro de la moda española ( que ha empezado a desarrollar su firma en el extranjero) rinde un homenaje a todos los diseñadores que son referencia para él.
En "Fashion Reliquary" Montesinos viaja de la sencillez del punto a las lentejuelas mezclando desordenadamente la herencia de las grandes firmas de nuestro país.
Francis Montesinos presents a buccaneer collection between aesthetics and military, between the grunge and flamenco world, between sensuality of the hostesses and aesthetics cowboys.
The master of Spanish fashion (which has started to develop his signature abroad) pays tribute to all the designers who are referred to him.
In "Fashion Reliquary" Montesinos travels from the simplicity point to the sequins disorderly mixing the heritage of the great firms of our country.
ANA LOCKING
"Antiheroe" se llamaba la colección de esta diseñadora toledana. Era su particular homenaje a esos hombres y mujeres que luchan cada día por sacar adelante su trabajo, que cada mañana necesita encontrar una razón para salir adelante y, al final del día, resurgen cual ave fénix.
La riqueza de los tejidos es otra de las muchas virtudes de esta marca: paños de lana, mohair, sedas y chantilly. Me ha encantado también su guiño a la cultura popular sacando sudaderas con el Pato Donald o cazadoras bomber con todo tipo de animaciones.
" Antiheroe " is the new collection of this Toledo designer. It was her unique tribute to those men and women who struggle every day to bring forward their work, every morning you need to find a reason to move forward and , at the end of the day, the phoenix resurface . The richness of the fabrics is one of many virtues of this brand: woolen cloth , mohair , silk and chantilly . I was also delighted his nod to pop culture drawing Donald Duck or bomber jackets with all kinds of animations.
ETXEBERRIA
Etxeberria te puede gustar o no pero nunca te dejará indiferente. A mí me fascina este diseñador vasco por su apuesta por vestir a un hombre arriesgado y diferente.
Sus abrigos son auténticas obras de arte; en tonos tierra y grises, arena y roca, se componían por un puzzle de diferentes pieles, unas más rugosas, otras menos, como si se tratara de una hazaña aleatoria de alguien que desea cubrirse con lo que encuentra aquí y allá en un tiempo pasado. También se ha visto piel roja, punto y plumas. Una vez mas insuperable.
You may like or not Etxeberria but he'll never leave you indifferent . I am fascinated for this Basque designer, for their commitment to dress a risky and different man.
Their coats are pieces of art ; in earth and gray tones , sand and rock, they are made by a puzzle of different skins , rougher than others, as if they were a random feat of someone who wishes to be covered by what is here and there in a past time . It has also been red skin and feathers point . Once again unsurpassed.
Coincidireis comnigo en que las propuestas para hombres en la 63 edición de la Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid son pocas pero muy interesantes y novedosas.

You'll agree with me that all men proposals we have seen in the 63 edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid are just a little bunch but very interesting and innovative .
