Desde que abrió sus puertas, esta pequeña heladería de Malasaña se ha convertido en uno de los mejores lugares de Madrid donde probar los auténticos taiyakis, unos helados japoneses con un cucurucho de masa tipo gofre y forma de pez. Delicados, originales y deliciosos, todo a la vez. Además, podéis elegir entre cuatro sabores diferentes y un montón de toppings.
Que no te quepa lugar a dudas, La Pecera es la heladería que ha marcado el ritmo de los postres en Madrid desde que abrieron su primera tienda en 2017, y cuyos locales en Malasaña, Goya y Sol son fáciles de reconocer por las largas colas que se forman, incluso hasta la calle.

Since it opened its doors, this small ice cream place in Malasaña has become one of the best places in Madrid to try the authentic taiyakis, Japanese ice cream with a waffle-like dough cone in the shape of a fish. Delicate, original and delicious, all at once. Besides, there are four different flavors to choose from and a lot of toppings.
It' s the ice cream parlor that shaped the beat of desserts in Madrid since it started the project in 2017 by the hand of three Venezuelans, with locations in Malasaña, Goya and Sol easily recognizable by the long queues that form, even down to the street.
Sólo te diré una cosa más, los helados de La Pecera son irresistibles. Eso si, no esperes un helado al uso, ni de tipo italiano, sino lo que llaman "helado soft" -tipo sandy-, que tiene un proceso de elaboración más complejo y se cocina a una temperatura mayor que el helado tradicional italiano consiguiendo una textura más cremosa y un sabor más potente.
Algunos de sus sabores estrella son los de vainilla y chocolate aunque hay sabores más ligeros como el helado de yogur y mango natural o el "Black Charcoal"y, por supuesto, su famoso helado negro con base de carbón activado.
En fin, queda abierta la temporada de helados. A disfrutarla.
I just tell you one thing, La Pecera's ice creams are absolutely irresistible. However, do not expect a regular ice cream, neither Italian type, but what they call "soft ice cream" -sandy type-, that has a more sophisticated elaboration process and is cooked at a higher temperature than the traditional Italian ice cream getting a creamier texture and a more powerful flavor.
Some of its star flavors are vanilla and chocolate, although there are lighter flavors such as yogurt and natural mango ice cream or "Black Charcoal" and, of course, its famous black ice cream with activated charcoal base.
Anyway, the ice cream season is open. Enjoy.
