Para que disfrutéis este cóctel hasta el punto de no poder vivir sin él os tiene que gustar el coco a rabiar ( o al menos su sabor) porque este “mojito blanco” sabe a coco hasta decir basta. A mi me chifla y soy de los que no podría vivir sin él ( sin el coco, me refiero)
La bebida es sencilla de preparar, cremosa y llena de sabores exóticos como la lima o la granada. Los ingredientes son fáciles de conseguir y si los tienes en casa lo puedes preparar en un periquete y quedar como un auténtico experto en cócteles.
A mi me vinieron a casa el sábado por la tarde unos amigos sin avisar, nos pusimos entre todos a prepararlo y aquí tenéis el resultado. Espero os guste.
I’m just going to put it out there that in order to love this drink, you have to love coconut because this is a very coconutty drink. I’m personally all about coconut, so the more the merrier! This drink is simple as can be, and perfect for all your holiday parties.
Here’s my quick run-down of this white Christmas mojito. This drink is creamy, fizzy and full of yummy coconut and lime flavors, basically it’s my dream drink, I just LOVE how festive and EASY it is. Some friends rolled into town Thursday night, just in time for the 7 o’clock cocktail hour, so these were their cocktail of the day. They of course loved them 1) they pretty much love anything with a little rum and 2) they are both coconut loving people…especially after their trip to Thailand. <–jealous.
INGREDIENTES
. El zumo de una lima
. 8 hojas de menta
. Una cucharada de azúcar
. 2 cucharadas soperas de ron blanco
. 2 cucharadas soperas de ron de coco
. 1/4 de leche de coco
. Una botella de agua con gas
- y unas granadas para adornar el cóctel
PREPARACIÓN
1. En un vaso, mezcla el jugo de lima, el azúcar y las hojas de menta hasta que las hojas se hayan machacado. Llena el vaso hasta la mitad con hielo.
2. En una licuadora, combina el ron blanco, el ron de coco y la leche de coco hasta que quede suave. Vierte el contenido sobre el hielo y revuelvelo para combinar. Añade al final el agua con gas, la menta y las granadas. ¡Y a beberlo!
INGREDIENTS
juice of 1 lime
8 leaves mint
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons white rum
1 tablespoon coconut rum
1/4 cup canned coconut milk
sparkling water for topping
pomegranate arils for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
In a glass, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until the leaves have broken down. Fill the glass half way with ice.
In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk and pulse until smooth. Pour over the ice and stir to combine. Top with sparkling water, mint and pomegranate. Drink!
