ยฟQUร FUE DE LAS CARMENAS DE TVBOY?

ยกNo sabรฉis lo difรญcil ha sido dar con los graffitis que en 2017 colocara en Madrid el artista callejero TVboy en homenaje a la entonces alcaldesa, Manuela Carmena! En ese aรฑo el famoso grafitiero milanรฉs colocรณ en diferentes barrios de la capital de Espaรฑa 3 creaciones suyas en las que Carmena aparecรญa representada en una estรฉtica โpop artโ emulando a โWonderwomanโ y otras superheroรญnas, e incluso apareciรณ en forma de santa. Pues bien, sรณlo queda esta que veis en el 28 de la calle Moratรญn, las demรกs han desaparecido.
De verdad que lo siento porque las obras de Tvboy son verdaderamente transgesoras y, como las de Banksy, muestran lo que opinan un amplio sector de la sociedad. Asรญ que borrarlas sin mรกs no me parece del todo correcto.
Es verdad que el artista sabe que la mayorรญa de sus obras urbanas duran apenas unas horas, pero se contenta con remover conciencias y hacer pensar al espectador que saca sus propias conclusiones.
En cualquier caso aquรญ teneis la รบnica Carmena โsupervivienteโ de las 3 que hizo para Madrid este artista callejero de fama internacional que ha llegado a trabajar para Greenpeace, sacar libros, hacer exposiciones internacionales e incluso se le ha rendido homenaje en la embajada italiana de Espaรฑa.
Espero que esta dure.
You have no idea how difficult it was to find the graffiti that in 2017 the street artist TVboy placed in Madrid as a tribute to the former mayor, Manuela Carmena! In that year, the famous Milanese graffiti artist placed 3 of his creations in different neighbourhoods of the Spanish capita representing Carmena as a pop art artist, emulating 'Wonderwoman' and other superheroes, and even appearing as a saint. Well, only this one remains, it can be found at 28 Moratรญn Street, the others have vanished.
I'm really sorry because Tvboy's works are truly transgressive and, like Banksy's, show what a wide sector of society thinks. So erasing just like that doesn't seem right to me.
It is true that the artist knows that most of his urban works last only a few hours, but he is pleased with the fact that he can remove consciences and make the viewer think about extracting their own conclusions.
Anyway, here you can see the only "surviving" Carmena of the three that this internationally famous street artist made for Madrid. He has worked for Greenpeace, published books, had international exhibitions and even been honoured by the Italian embassy in Spain.
I hope this one lasts.
Para los que no lo conozcais Tvboy es un artista callejero italiano afincado desde hace muchos aรฑos en Barcelona, ciudad a la que se fue a vivir porque allรญ "encontrรณ el amor".
En ese aรฑo, en 2017, comprรณ un billete de AVE de ida y vuelta para el mismo dรญa Barcelona-Madrid-Barcelona y colocar en tres barrios de la capital (Lavapies, Chueca y Las Letras) tres dibujos que, aunque su apariencia reflejen lo contrario, no estaban pintados sobre la pared sino que eran pegatinas.
Segรบn รฉl mismo declarรณ en su dรญa, lo hizo en homenaje a la alcaldesa porque la veรญa como una โsuperwoman o una santa que venรญa para cambiar la ciudad de arriba abajo". Antes Tvboy habรญa hecho lo mismo con la edil de Barcelona, Ada Colau, o con otras personalidades internaciones como el Papa Francisco.
