DINNING ROOM
Con vistas a la laguna, el concepto abierto de The Dinning Room y su diseño inspirado en la isla crean un entorno relajado para comer en armonía con la naturaleza. Aquí vais a poder disfrutar de una gran variedad de sabores internacionales a través de los apetitosos bufés de desayuno, almuerzo y cena, que incluyen especialidades asiáticas y del océano Índico con los ingredientes más frescos de la región. Todos los días los platos son diferentes por lo que nunca te aburrirás de probar nuevos sabores.
Overlooking the lagoon, The Dining Room’s open concept and island-inspired design create a relaxed setting for dining at one with nature. Savour an abundant variety of international flavours in mouthwatering breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, including Asian and Indian Ocean specialties that celebrate the freshest ingredients from the region. THE GARDEN
Este es un sitio muy especial del resort. Lo llaman Earth Basket y está dedicado al cultivo de verduras, frutas, hierbas y especias que luego se utilizan en los restaurantes. Si lo deseas puedes reservar una clase de cocina en la que recogerás diferentes ingredientes frescos del jardín y luego preparar tu propia comida junto con el chef.
Yo hice una Master Class con el chef Walter Hill y aprendí muchísimo de cocina asiática. Una experiencia super agradable.
In the center of the island you’ll find one of the biggest gardens we’ve seen so far in the Maldives, called the Earth Basket. Due to the location far in the south the resort naturally relies a lot on food deliveries just like all island resorts. But in the garden they grow many vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices on their own which then will be used in the restaurants. You can even book a cooking class where you’ll pick different ingredients fresh from the garden to create your own meal together with the chef.
CAFE DEL SOL y THE BEACH CLUB
Este restaurante está situado justo en la piscina principal del complejo. El menú tiene muchas opciones mediterráneas y postres increíbles que los puedes disfrutar en un ambiente relajado. Durante el día, el Café Del Sol es el mejor lugar para holgazanear y por la noche se transforma en The Beach Club donde se puede disfrutar de barbacoas, buenos cócteles y música con DJ.
This restaurant is located right by the main pool of the resort. The menu has many Mediterranean options and amazing desserts that you can enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere. During the day, Café Del Sol is the best place to lounge around and at night it transforms into The Beach Club where you can enjoy barbecues, good cocktails and DJ music.
LONG ISLAND
Rodeado de la serenidad de un exuberante jardín, Long Island sirve un exquisito menú italiano con un toque único. Con productos frescos, como hierbas aromáticas e ingredientes rústicos, los platos crean sabores refrescantes y muy reconfortantes. Os recomiendo los platos de pasta, son sabrosísimos.

LI BAI
Li Bai es el lugar donde se puede disfrutar de una auténtica comida cantonesa, la joya de la corona de la gastronomía china. Este lugar ofrece interpretaciones modernas de la exquisita comida de Cantón, con platos auténticos como el dim sum, el marisco fresco y las suculentas carnes.
Li Bai is the place to go for authentic Cantonese food, which is the crown jewel of Chinese cuisine. This restaurant offers modern interpretations of Canton's exquisite food, with authentic dishes such as dim sum, fresh seafood and succulent meats.

THE FALHUMAA
Mi última cena, y la favorita, fue en el restaurante sobre el agua Falhumaa, que se encuentra en la otra propiedad de The Residence Maldives. Este restaurante esta especializado en alta comida francesa y el entorno no puede ser más romantico e ideal: sobre al agua, donde verás todo tipo de peces y, si tienes suerte, tortugas. La mayoría de los platos son de marisco, pero también hay buenas opciones de carne o vegetarianas. Os recomiendo que no os vayáis sin probar los postres, son maravillosos.
My last and favorite dinner was at the overwater restaurant Falhumaa, which is located on the other property of the Residence. This restaurant specializes in fine French food and the setting couldn't be more romantic and ideal: over the water, where you will see all kinds of fish and, if you are lucky, turtles. Most of the dishes are seafood, but there are also good meat and vegetarian options. I recommend you not to leave without trying the desserts, they are wonderful.
