¡Por fin he encontrado en Madrid un sitio donde poder disfrutar de un desayuno al más puro estilo jamaicano! Se llama Monkee Koffee y está en el 112 de la calle Vallehermoso, en pleno barrio de Chamberí. Sirven un café EXCELENTE!
Utilizan el Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, considerado uno de los más caros del mundo y declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
Os aseguro que el sabor de este café os atrapará desde el primer instante. Recuerda un poco al caramelo y al chocolate blanco y, además, el aroma tiene toques a canela y toffee. El Blue Mountain Coffee no tiene acidez, por lo que el gusto es duradero y os dejaré en el paladar un sabor dulce y aterciopelado.
Os recomiendo que completéis el desayuno con un delicioso zumo natural de fruta de la pasión y una “Love Toast”con aguacate y tomate.

Al entrar, el ambiente distendido, el espacio diáfano de paredes de ladrillo, el mobiliario vintage y la decoración industrial llaman la atención. Y, al acercarse a su mostrador, uno se da cuenta de que sus propuestas dulces y saladas son irresistibles. Es difícil elegir entre sus sándwiches, cookies o tartas y también entre sus diferentes cafés.
Te das cuenta que vas a vivir una experiencia gastronómica desde el primer momento.
Por ejemplo: todos sus camareros son baristas profesionales; el agua que emplean se mineraliza antes de su paso por la máquina y la leche se mantiene a una temperatura constante de 4º para llevarla después hasta los 65º, una leche fresca y entera -clave para disfrutar de la cremosidad en un buen latte– Y para los intolerantes a la lactosa, leche de soja.

This is undoubtedly one of the coziest coffee shops in Chamberí! In addition to unbeatable customer service, they offer amazing coffee to purchase their grounds to brew at home, as well as fantastic baked goods. Exposed brick, long wooden tables, and a leather sofa make this a stylish and comfortable place to spend an afternoon.
Ah, I almost forgot, Pets are always welcome. Isn´t great?
