¡Qué ganas tenía de volver a París! He visitado esta maravillosa ciudad en muchas ocasiones y, la verdad, en verano se está allí la mar de bien.
Y es que si visitas París durante estos meses de calor, tendrás la oportunidad de recorrer la ciudad a tu ritmo. Muchos parisinos se encuentran de vacaciones en otros sitios, por lo que la capital francesa suele estar menos congestionada y su ambiente acostumbra a ser más relajado.
Las suaves temperaturas te permitirán disfrutar al máximo de los muchos parques y zonas al aire libre de la ciudad desde primera hora de la mañana hasta bien entrada la noche, y a buen seguro que la cantidad de eventos y festivales que se organizan entre junio y septiembre en la Ciudad de la Luz te sorprenderá gratamente.
¿Sabeis lo que suelo hacer yo siempre que voy a Paris en julio o en agosto? Picnic.en el parque del Campo de Marte, el amplísimo jardín de 300 000 metros cuadrados que rodea la torre Eiffel. En verano, no hay mejor lugar que este para disfrutar de un pícnic y relajarse sobre la hierba con vistas a este emblemático monumento. Te recomiendo que compres un sándwich y una botella de vino en Le Champ des Délices y Le Repaire de Bacchus respectivamente, en la rue Saint-Dominique, a 300 metros del Campo de Marte. Después, elige el lugar que más te guste y disponte a disfrutar de una comida inolvidable sobre el césped con vistas a la Tour Eiffel.
I couldnt wait to go to Paris one more time. I usually visit this wonderful city quite often but I have to confess that in Summer time Paris has this “je ne se qua” that I really love.

The Parc du Champs de Mars (Field of Mars Park) is a 300,000 sq m public greenspace surrounding the Eiffel Tower. In summer, it offers one of the quirkiest places to enjoy a picnic and for lazing on the lawn at the foot of “the Iron Lady”. Grab a sandwich and a bottle of wine respectively at Le Champ des Délices and at Le Repaire de Bacchus on Rue Saint-Dominique, 300 metres away from the Champs de Mars. Then, find a spot on the grass to enjoy your meal in an unforgettable setting.
Aunque suene raro, en verano París transmite una sensación de bullicio y tranquilidad a la vez. Con motivo de las vacaciones, como os dije antes muchos parisinos abandonan la capital para veranear en otros destinos, lo que hace que las calles del centro y el transporte público se vacíen. Sin embargo, la afluencia de turistas se traduce en largas colas para visitar los puntos de referencia más emblemáticos, como la Torre Eiffel y el Museo del Louvre. Si quieres evitar las aglomeraciones de turistas que invaden París en verano, te recomiendo comprar las entradas con antelación, acudir a los monumentos a primera hora, seleccionar el día de menor afluencia de visitantes y optar por atracciones menos conocidas.

Le Fouquet's es un local elegante ubicado en la avenida de los Campos Elíseos. Disfrutarás enormemente de lo que consumas aquí, pero prepárate para pagar una cuenta abultada.
El Café Beaubourg se encuentra frente al Centro Pompidou, en la rue Saint-Merri. La terraza es un lugar inmejorable para descansar y contemplar a los transeúntes.
