Naji Specialty Coffee es uno de esos sitios que los descubres por casualidad y, casi sin darte cuenta, los conviertes en imprescindibles.
Aquí vas a encontrar el único café de pistachos de todo Madrid ( y me atrevería a decir de toda España) que te convertirá en adicto a esta especialidad desde el primer sorbo.
La idea es del propio Naji, el dueño del local, un iraquí afincado en nuestro país que tras muchos años trabajando como barista (o sea, experto en cafés de alta calidad) decidió hacerle un homenaje al pistacho, toda una institución en su país natal.
Después de muchas pruebas, dio con la receta secreta perfecta: un café cremoso (pero no empalagoso), suave (ni amargo ni azucarado) y con un puntito de nuez pistacho diferente, que sabe a aromas de Oriente Próximo.
Naji ha conseguido una mezcla muy buena y original, con una base de Oriente a la que “le da su toque", la mezcla con café y se transforma en una crema de pistacho. Se puede pedir con todos los tipos de café, con diferentes leches…
¿El resultado? Espectacular.

The idea is from Naji himself, the owner of the place, an Iraqi living in our country who after many years working as a barista ( that is to say, an expert in high quality coffees) decided to make a tribute to pistachio, an institution in his homeland.
After many tests, he found the perfect secret recipe: a creamy (but not cloying), soft (neither bitter nor sweet) coffee with a different hint of pistachio nuts, tasting of Middle Eastern aromas.
Naji has achieved a very good and original blend, with an oriental base to which he "gives his touch", mixing it with coffee and transforming it into a pistachio cream. It can be ordered with all types of coffee, with different milks...
The score? Spectacular.
Naji Speciality Coffee es un lugar donde vas a poder encontrar los llamados cafés de especialidad. Son sitios donde le rinden verdadero culto y su sabor alcanza otra dimensión (tanto es así que después de conocerlos, el típico café de toda la vida te sabrá a aguachirri).
Bajo esta premisa, Naji hace felices a sus clientes y trabaja con lo mejor que hay en el mercado. En su caso, lo hace con un tostador londinense de excelente calidad: un Caravan Roaster personalizado a su gusto. Con dos molinos, sirve o bien el blend de la casa, elaborado con cafés de Guatemala y El Salvador, o bien cafés de diferentes orígenes que va cambiando cada mes, y que además podrás llevarte a casa recién molidos.

El pistacho también está presente en los dulces, como un financier que elabora una pastelera que estudió en Le Cordon Bleu. Además, prepara tostadas de pan de masa madre y aguacate, de tomate con albahaca fresca o la de queso fresco con crema de Agadir (Marruecos), aceite de Argán puro, almendra triturada y miel de naranja que es, por sí misma, suficiente razón para visitarle.
